ASB becomes Chapter Zero New Zealand Partner
Chapter Zero New Zealand, hosted by the Institute of Directors (IoD), has announced ASB Bank will join the initiative as a Partner.
ASB Chief Executive Vittoria Shortt was inspired by the momentum of Chapter Zero NZ across the governance community and recognising the role that directors can play in building effective climate action across the breadth of New Zealand businesses and organisations.
“At ASB our purpose is to accelerate the progress of all New Zealanders. This includes considering the social and economic wellbeing of our customers and communities, protecting the environment and reducing our climate impact.”
“We are looking forward to partnering with Chapter Zero NZ as another way to demonstrate our commitment to climate action at all levels of business,” says Ms Shortt.
Chapter Zero NZ, which now has more than 1,200 individual directors engaged as supporters, offers a range of tools and resources that provide practical support for directors and boards.
Chapter Zero NZ is grateful for the support of its Foundation Partners: Ākina (Official Impact Partner), Anthem (Official Communications Partner), Dentons Kensington Swan (Official Legal Partner), Hobson Leavy (Official Recruitment Partner) and KPMG (Official Advisory Partner).
